The new futsal project continues to take shape for the 2026-2027 season with a series of moves aimed at consolidating a solid and ambitious structure. After the agreement of fusion between AD Ceuta FC and Imperio Los Rosales, the new entity has begun to lay the foundations of an initiative called to represent the city in the Segunda División B. One of the first steps was the incorporation of Hamza Maimon to the sports structure of the club. The Ceuta native returned after his stage in Polish futsal, where he played for Slask de Breslavia, to bring his experience and knowledge to the growth of a project that awakened great expectation among fans. During his presentation, he highlighted the importance of this union for the future of local futsal and showed his confidence that the entity could follow a line of development similar to that experienced by other teams in the city. Now, the new entity has taken a key step in configuring its new sports structure with the appointment of its new coach: José Ramón Ruiz 'Taconi', who will start a new stage in the solo bench after his experience as second of Anto Fernández at the helm of AD Ceuta Femenino in LaLiga Iberdrola. His experience with the women's team, as well as his previous stint as coach of UA Ceutí, have been arguments in favor of this choice of a well-known figure in futsal in the city. 'His knowledge of futsal, his commitment and his career will be key to facing this new project with enthusiasm', they expressed in their announcement from Imperio AD Ceuta FC. Soon, it is expected that he will continue to shape his ambitious project with the composition of the squad.
