Ceuta plays its last match of the season against Albacete and seeks permanence with €1.5 million at stake. The team needs a good result to secure its place in the Segunda División. Despite having a good season in their return to the silver category, Ceuta must now look to the next season and the necessary funds to achieve it. The team has managed to secure permanence with one of the worst salary caps in the competition and with over half the squad consisting of players from the previous season and First Division. Ceuta is currently 11th in the table, just behind Albacete with one more point in the standings. If Ceuta finishes the season in the position it currently occupies, it would receive a gratification of €2.73 million, but if it achieves only one position above, the 10th, the total would be €3.18, and if it were 9th, as it is the Córdoba (which will face the relegated Huesca) with two more points, it would be €3.86 million. Although the players do not want to take out their calculators and focus more on the sport and giving their fans the 17th win of the course, the math dictates that with the new project on the horizon, that extra €1.5 million could make all the difference.
