AD Ceuta FC have completed the signing of right-back Álex Petxarromán, 27, on a deal until June 2028. The Segunda División side adds a defender with top-flight and Liga Hypermotion experience to bolster their defensive options.

Who is Álex Petxarromán?

Born in San Sebastián on 6 February 1997, Petxarromán is a right-back developed in the Real Sociedad youth system. His career includes spells at Athletic Club —where he made his La Liga debut in 2021-22— and a loan at FC Andorra last season. Across four Liga Hypermotion campaigns he has logged 92 games and two goals, plus 12 top-flight appearances for Athletic.

Why has he joined Ceuta FC?

The Ceuta-based club gains a versatile defender who can play in midfield too. His transition intensity, pace and defensive solidity are his standout traits.
