Club Imperio of Ceuta was crowned champions of the Autonomous Cup +40 in an exciting match against the Ceuta Veterans Football Association. The match ended in a 1-1 tie and the Association's victory in the penalty shootout. Club Imperio of Ceuta took the lead in the score with Mario Rivero, while Fidel Rodríguez scored the equalizer for the Ceuta Veterans Football Association. The Association won the penalty shootout 5-4, proclaiming themselves champions of the Autonomous Cup +40. Later, at 21:00 hours, the final of the play off of the Veterans +35 League was held between C.F. González Tablas and CD UCIDCE. CD UCIDCE was proclaimed champion after winning 0-4 in the Emilio Cózar. The goals of the match were scored by Sufian Ali Maimon, Muhamad Lahasen, twice, and Adil Mohamed Bulher. After the dispute of both finals, at 22:00 hours, the act of delivery of medals, trophies and recognitions took place, putting the finishing touch to the season of the veteran competitions. During the act, a gift was given to all the referees of both categories, in recognition of their work during the development of the competition. Also, the trophies of champion and sub-champion of the Autonomous Cup +40 were delivered to the Ceuta Veterans Football Association and Club Imperio of Ceuta, respectively. The day also served to recognize the four top classified teams in the regular leagues of Veterans +35 and Veterans +40. In Veterans +35, CD UCIDCE received the trophy that accredits them as champions of the League, while C.F. González Tablas was recognized as second classified. Also, Inter of Ceuta and AD Ceuta FC were distinguished as classified teams in third and fourth position. In Veterans +40, the Ceuta Veterans Football Association also received the trophy of champion of the League. Sporting Atlético was recognized as second classified, Club Imperio of Ceuta as third and U.D. Velarde as fourth classified. Additionally, the Clean Game trophies of both categories were delivered. In Veterans +35, the recognition was for AD Ceuta FC, while in Veterans +40 it fell on Club Imperio of Ceuta. The delivery of trophies was carried out by federative members, among which were Antonio García Gaona, president of the RFFCE; José Garrido, director of Competitions; Iván Chaves, president of the Committee of Coaches; and Salvador Alcaraz, president of the CTA of the RFFCE, among other representatives of the Ceuta Territorial.
